Val Demings for U.S. Senate released an ad slamming the Rubio-Scott Tax Hike. The ad comes after Senator Rick Scott released his proposed plan to hike taxes on Florida’s working class families and seniors, and highlights Marco Rubio’s failure to reject the plan and to show up for Floridians.
The digital ad will run as part of the campaign’s ongoing, six-figure digital ad buy. Val Demings for U.S. Senate is the first Democratic Senate challenger campaign to launch paid advertising on the proposed tax hike on seniors and working families.
“Marco Rubio’s party boss is planning to hike taxes on Florida’s working families, seniors, and veterans with the Rubio-Scott Tax Hike, and Rubio is too cowardly to reject the politicians and special interests that tell him what to do,” said Demings Communications Director Christian Slater. “Chief Demings will work for Florida’s seniors and working families, not fight to hike their taxes.”
Despite beingaskedrepeatedly, Marco Rubio has refused to condemn Scott’s proposed tax hike on seniors and working families.
